Sometimes when I pick Aiden up from
daycare preschool he wants to go on a “trip” before we go home. I needed to do some grocery shopping and Target has a better price on a bunch of things so off we went. While we were there I spotted these ottomans in the “dorm room essentials” section. (I cannot find them anywhere online, but they were with things like this)
I grabbed two because everyone needs a little neon in their lives and brought them home to go with our Ikea Lack table that Aiden sits at to eat, color, play, and (hold back the tears) do homework.
We actually have two green chairs (kept out of the photos for effect) that Aiden and his friends can sit on comfortably but they’re not great if your bum is bigger than theirs so I was excited to find something for adults since we are usually the ones supervising. Usually.
You might notice that the tags are still on. They slide under the table really nicely and I find them a really comfortable height to sit on when I’m helping Aiden with his homework (he can write his name!) BUT you can’t sit on them and fit your legs under the table, which isn’t a problem for me, but might be for the kids. So we’re not sure if we’re keeping them or not.
What are your thoughts? Should we keep them or toss them?
