The more I post about shared rooms, the more feedback I get that they’re the hardest to find great inspiration from. So I’m going to continue and do a roundup of shared “big” boys rooms.

Be Still My Heart: Shared Big Boy Rooms

It’s really no surprise that this boys shared room is on the list. Melissa Fluhr is the co-founder of Project Nursery. Project Nursery, if you haven’t discovered it already, is a fantastic resource for baby and kid design ideas, parties, products, and projects (I’m particularly partial to this one ;) ). I love that fabulous gallery wall above their beds and if you click through you will see great storage solutions for small spaces. Oh, NYC apartments…

Shared Boys Rooms via Shoes Off PleaseI love the letter shelves above the bed and the chair rail/book ledge in this shared boys room! Genius! There’s so much texture, but the room is so cohesive and is full of great DIY projects by Beth of Home Stories A to Z.

You know what I love about this next room from Mermag? The cloud stenciled wall, the faux taxidermy, the cloud pillow and the fact that this room is for two boys and a girl (and the boys helped paint the beds, how great is that?)

I saw some really cool out-there rooms, some great rooms with not great photos, and some rooms that I absolutely loved but no matter how hard I tried could not find a source. I didn’t include those rooms, but if you’re looking for inspiration, know that it’s all out there.

Past roundups of shared rooms include:

Shared Toddler and Baby Boy and Girl Rooms
Shared “Big” Girl Rooms

If you follow me on Facebook you may have already seen how excited I am, but I’ll mention it here anyway: Aiden and Mia’s room is on dwellinggawker! One of their editors posted the DIY drop cloth rug that I submitted to craftgawker so I thought maybe I’ll just try submitting their room…it was such a nice surprise last night!

Have a Great Weekend!
