At this point, I’ve done a girl nursery roundup and a boy nursery roundup, but I’ve neglected the very thing I said I couldn’t find: a shared nursery and toddler room!

It’s not that hard to find shared nurseries when the kids are the same ages or the same gender, but when you’ve got a baby girl and a toddler boy (just a thought, no one specific in mind here), it’s tough to find good examples.

After scouring the internet and the Pinternet (which is totally a real word, just trust me on this) here are some of my favorites:

I saw this room by Cindy of CinSarah featured on Young House Love’s Reader Redesign and I obviously had to include it because 1- did you see that amazing giraffe? 2- it’s so crisp and clean and calm AND super renter-friendly and 3- Did you notice the giraffe? I reallly like it.

I love the color scheme for Penelope and Felix’s room from I Still Love You, it’s so refreshing and full of handmade touches (such a fan). Plus the whole room was put together for under $400. Right?

This is Hadley and Kohen’s shared space from the Anderson Crew. I love the wide stripes and the crib set-up. Nobody put this baby in a corner! (I have a corny problem, but it’s why Tuvia and I work)

Here’s one from Domestic Simplicity shared by Nick and Mia! Man, I love that name…again, no one specific in mind… I just like the name.

I can’t find the original source for the next one, I found it on HGTV Rate My Space. This big brother loves golf, I’m imagining a little boy in the hat, high socks, and funky patterned pants wandering around a golf course with a club over his shoulder. Are there official terms for all those clothes?

I’m having the hardest time finding the original source for this room, but how smart? This is such a great space saver and when your younger one is done with the crib, you use the bunkbed as it was meant to be! I loved having a bunkbed when I was younger, we had the kind with the top going one way and the other coming out perpendicular to that with shelves and a desk attached.

And a little bonus: Lay Baby Lay has my all time favorite mood boards, I love her unexpected choices and pairings that always look like they were meant to be together. Here are two she made for a big sister and baby brother: Cheery Cherry and So Happy Together

I hope you found some shared room/gender inspiration!

In other news: Aiden’s party is up on Apartment Therapy and I am so thrilled and would love love love if you could go check it out (or maybe even leave a comment if you’re feeling uber-generous?)

Have a great weekend!
